Timetable changes on certain RGTR bus lines starting 15 December 2024

As part of the ongoing optimisation of the RGTR bus network, adjustments will be made to the timetables and routes of approximately fifty lines starting 15 December 2024. These changes align with the European-wide timetable update for the railway network.

The goal of these adaptations is to better meet the needs of passengers while enhancing the quality of service. The key changes are as follows:

  • Increased service on certain lines: More seating capacity and additional services will be introduced to meet demand and ensure optimal comfort for all passengers.
  • Incorporating feedback from passengers and municipalities: Suggestions for improvements submitted by passengers and local authorities have been reviewed and implemented where they provide collective benefits.
  • Optimisation of Line 551 (Thionville – Belval – Foetz): The route has been revised to shorten travel times for cross-border commuters from Thionville to the south of the country, particularly to Belval and Esch-sur-Alzette.
