Major worksite in Bettembourg : renovation of the Hammerel bridge

Since November 2023, renovation work is underway on the “Hammerel bridge” at Bettembourg station. The P+R next to Bettembourg station is thus partially closed until 24 April 2025 (see CFL map below).

A temporary P+R has been set up in ZAE Wolser F, which is easily accessible by car along the bypass and by foot. The temporary P+R is also accessible by regular bus routes 631 and 633, as well as by shuttle bus 634 linking the P+R with the railway station.

Since 16/09/2024 and until further notice, the next phase of the major construction site in Bettembourg has begun. In contrast to the previous phase of the construction site, train services will resume, but some adjustments to the RGTR bus network are still necessary to ensure that the construction work can proceed seamlessly. Further details on the impact of the construction site on the RGTR network can be found under the following link.

During the construction phase, from 16/09/2024 until further notice, the RGTR bus lines will serve Bettembourg-Gare according to the map below:

  • “Rue de la Gare” bus stop: This stop is served by RGTR lines 513, 621, 631, 632, 641 & 650.
