Major worksite in Bettembourg : renovation of the Hammerel bridge

Since November 2023, renovation work is underway on the “Hammerel bridge” at Bettembourg station. The P+R next to Bettembourg station is thus partially closed until 31 May 2025 (see CFL map below).

A temporary P+R has been set up in ZAE Wolser F, which is easily accessible by car along the bypass and by foot. The temporary P+R is also accessible by regular bus routes 631 and 633, as well as by shuttle bus 634 linking the P+R with the railway station. Please note: the bus route 634 will be discontinued from 18 May 2025. The bus routes 631 and 633 will continue to serve the temporary P+R until 31 May 2025 (end of construction work).

Since 6 April 2025, regular services will resume at the bus station in Bettembourg and the RGTR bus lines 551, 512, 513, 550, 591, 621, 631, 632, 633, 634, 641 and 650 as well as the RGTR school bus lines D15, D17, E35, L01, N01, R06 and R07 will operate from the bus platforms at the bus station again. Bus services at the bus stops ‘Rue Auguste Collart’ and ‘Rue de la Gare’ will be discontinued from 6 April 2025, as the lines stopping there will resume serving the bus station from 6 April 2025. As the Hammerel Bridge will be reopened on 5 April 2025 and the CFL is planning a rail replacement service from 5 April 2025 until 21 April 2025, the buses will serve the bus station as shown on the following map. The platform distribution is shown as follows:

  • Gare – Zone A (from 05/04/2025 until 21/04/2025): Rail replacement services for train lines L60, L61, L90 and TGV,
  • Bettembourg bus station (from 06/04/2025): RGTR and RGTR school bus lines.
